Out with
the old.
Clean slate.

When a deck is past saving, we take it down, haul it away, and leave the ground clean and ready — whether you're rebuilding or reclaiming the space. No mess left behind.

When it's time to tear it out

Past a fix,
and you
know it.

Most of what we do is keep decks going — but sometimes the kindest thing for a structure is to take it down. When the framing's gone soft or the footings have given up, no amount of new boards on top makes it safe again. We'll tell you honestly when removal beats repair.

And it isn't always about damage. Maybe you want a different footprint, you're clearing room for a new build, or there's an old structure you've just never liked. Whatever the reason, we take it out cleanly and leave you with open, ready ground.

— Forty years of building decks means we know exactly how they come apart.

Signs it should come out
  • Framing or footings rotted through When the structure underneath is gone, new decking just hides the problem. It's time to start fresh.
  • Unsafe and beyond reinforcing If a deck moves under your feet and no amount of bracing will steady it, the safe call is to take it down.
  • You want a different footprint A new shape or size usually means the old deck has to clear out first. We remove it cleanly to make room.
  • Making room for a new deck Planning a fresh build? We tear out the old one and prep the ground so the new deck starts on a clean site.
  • An old structure you just want gone A tired deck or shed you'd rather have as open yard — we take it apart and haul it off for good.
  • Pile of broken, torn-out deck boards

    Tear-downs.

Taking a deck apart well is its own kind of careful work. We dismantle in order rather than wrecking, so we protect the house and the yard around it — and so what comes out is sorted and easy to haul, not a tangled mess on your lawn.

    • Old or unsafe decks removedTired or failing structures taken fully apart.
    • Careful around siding & landscapingWe work clear of the house, beds, and plantings.
    • Footings pulled or cut downOld posts and footings dug out or cut flush.
    Clearing and bagging up debris

    Haul-away & site prep.

A tear-down isn't done until the yard is yours again. We load the old material into the truck, take it away, and turn the bare patch it leaves behind into clean, level ground — ready for a new deck or just for the lawn to fill back in.

    • Materials & debris hauled offOld boards, framing, and scrap loaded and gone.
    • Site cleared and levelledThe ground raked out flat and free of debris.
    • Ready for a new buildLeft clean and prepped so the next deck starts right.
